Aims of the Programme
The main aim of the MBA Management programme is to develop skilled leaders capable of navigating dynamic local and global challenges by enhancing their strategic leadership performance. Through a comprehensive curriculum, the programme aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to source, analyse, and critically appraise business data, enabling them to develop flexible strategies that effectively satisfy diverse stakeholder and partner demands across value-added systems. This aim underscores the programme's commitment to addressing human resource needs by preparing graduates to lead strategically in today's ever-changing business environment.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the programme, the student will be expected to:
a) Interpret complex corporate problems and propose solutions within resource constraints.
b) Evaluate management research literature to identify and address key management issues effectively.
c) Assess business opportunities and implement workplace innovations to enhance organisational performance.
d) Analyse ethical considerations and societal responsibilities relevant to managerial decision-making, applying ethical principles judiciously.
e) Communicate with various stakeholders using diverse modes and ICT tools, ensuring clear and comprehensive dissemination of information.
Admission Requirements
The general admission requirements for entry to Unicaf University in Zambia Master degree programmes are as outlined below. Students are advised to contact the Office of Admissions to find out more about the range of equivalent international academic qualifications accepted.
- Admission to a Master’s degree programme requires an accredited Bachelor degree with Credit and above or equivalent qualification. Students with lower results will need to enter the University’s Pre-Masters programme. Related professional qualifications at the appropriate level will also be considered for entry.
- Students with an accredited Master’s degree will also be considered for entry.
- Recognized proof of English proficiency demonstrated by approved English language tests, if the Bachelor degree was not taught in the English language
- Copy of valid passport or national ID
In addition to a strong academic record, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills and other relevant background information are taken into account.
