Aims of the Programme
The main aim of the programme is to cultivate strategic leaders and managers equipped with robust critical thinking abilities, managerial skills and knowledge and the ability to synthesise and analyse diverse business data to make informed decisions in response to dynamic global challenges and complex management situations, thereby addressing pressing human resource needs in the contemporary business landscape.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the programme, the student will be expected to:
a) Apply critical and analytical thinking skills to evaluate business situations effectively.
b) Generate creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial solutions to address complex business challenges.
c) Utilise integrated problem-solving skills and strategic analysis across all functional areas of business.
d) Demonstrate strategic management competencies in effectively leading and directing organisational operations.
e) Interpret data (qualitative and quantitative) and financial information effectively to support informed decision-making.
Admission Requirements
The general admission requirements for entry to Unicaf University in Zambia Master degree programmes are as outlined below. Students are advised to contact the Office of Admissions to find out more about the range of equivalent international academic qualifications accepted.
- Admission to a Master’s degree programme requires an accredited Bachelor degree with Credit and above or equivalent qualification. Students with lower results will need to enter the University’s Pre-Masters programme. Related professional qualifications at the appropriate level will also be considered for entry.
- Students with an accredited Master’s degree will also be considered for entry.
- Recognized proof of English proficiency demonstrated by approved English language tests, if the Bachelor degree was not taught in the English language
- Copy of valid passport or national ID
In addition to a strong academic record, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills and other relevant background information are taken into account.
