Course Description:

Todevelopstudents’understandingofrelevant Cognitive Psychology conceptsandmodels which are applicable to the workplace behaviors and working environments.
To develop students’ understanding of the Psychology of Marketing, Advertising and Consumer Behavior.
Toencourage studentstoevaluatetheoreticalapproachesto,and modelsof Cognitive Psychology,the Psychology of Marketing and Advertising and the Psychology of Consumer Behavior.
To encourage critical analysis of empirical research related to external communications.
To provide studentswith theopportunityto apply their knowledgeof Psychology to issues regardingexternal communications in their current, or previous, working environments.

Demonstrateunderstandingandknowledgeofconceptsindevelopingand managing external communication
Understand and appreciate the wide-ranging application of cognitive psychological approaches to effective communications
To understand the psychology of howconsumers think, feel,reason and select between alternatives
