An understanding of the structure and relationship of human body parts and organs is important in instituting medical and surgical and treatment.
The clinical anatomy course aims to provide students with exposure and knowledge in the application of anatomy in medicine.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course students will be expected to:
(i) Identify the anatomical basis for diagnosis and intervention in each clinical scenario.
(ii) Apply anatomical facts in carrying out clinical procedures.
(iii) Describe the relevant anatomy of disordered structure and function in common clinical conditions.
(iv) Demonstrate the ability to integrate knowledge of gross, microscopic, and developmental anatomy as a basis for future clinical studies.
