Induction ModuleModule Details

The Induction module is designed to help new medical students feel comfortable in their new learning environment, introduce them to the ethos and culture of our institution, help them build relationships with other students and faculty members, and become familiar with methods of learning that will enable them to become effective online learners. The module introduces students to the practice of writing for academic purposes, setting the foundations for continued development and adaptation of these skills throughout their academic and professional journeys in medicine. The assessment is tailored to students of medicine, encouraging them to engage with academic expectations in ways that are relevant to their future studies and professional development. It is a self-paced module with a maximum duration of two weeks, allowing students to decide on the pace and timing of their learning experience and proceed from one section to the next at their own speed.
