Course Description:
Rationale
Educational governance and management contribute greatly to the ensuing success of teaching and learning in schools. Its efficiency within education organisations, public or private, is defined by the effective decision-making processes which on a later stage establishes fruitful relationships between organisations. It is particularly complex since it defines expectations, grants authority and delineates lines of accountability. Students will be familiarised with how school leaders and local officials can work together to establish the practices and processes under which the schools operate. Educational administration is the process of utilising the appropriate resources in such a way that will put into effect the practices and processes of school operation.
