Rationale


Business Ethics introduces students to ethical dilemmas and resolving methods in business, while enabling students to effectively use resources in order to ‘learn how to learn’.

Learning Outcomes


At the end of the course students will be expected to:
(i)    Recognise an ethical dilemma; 
(ii)   Develop a Code of Ethics; 
(iii)  Resolve workplace ethical dilemmas; 
(iv)  Explain the term ‘whistleblower’ and its relationship to the organisation; 
(v)   Critically explain the components of Corporate Social Responsibility; 
(vi)  Explain the term Corporate Governance; 
(vii) Identify the ethical ramifications of technology in organisations; 
(viii) Identify and suggest ways of coping with the ethical challenges in a global environment.
