Course Description:

Background and Rationale


The course will provide the students with the current principles and concepts and models in education leadership. It focuses on understanding the field of school improvement as well as the role of leaders in initiating and sustaining improvement in educational organizations. New media, tools and their applications in learning, and the theories of learning that underlie these studies will be discussed and explained in relation to educational effectiveness and the role and functioning of educational management and leadership.

Learning Outcomes


Students will discover the current trends in the education process and new types of educational models that are useful for teaching and learning design, and the role of educational leadership in promoting effectiveness of education:

  •  involve technology in teaching and learning
  •  introduce new teaching and learning methodologies
  •  improve the xenophobic trends and accept the differentiation
  •  minimize bullying trends
