Course Description:

This module aims to provide an understanding of the political, social and economic aspects of health management, as well as the complexities involved in the Health Service Administration. They will also be able to analyze marketing significance in managing health services and develop skills in innovation management.

They will have developed their knowledge about the administration of health services and human resource management in order to be able to evaluate specific choices from a broader political, economic and social environment.
Understand the complexity and basic principles of a Health Service Administration.
Distinguish the key design criteria, organization, management and leadership for successful management of health services.
Understand and analyze the importance of marketing in management of these services.
Identify and reach critical changes facing the health sector.
Seek ways of dealing with resistance to these changes.
Develop knowledge and skills in the management of innovation.
