Provide a solid understanding of concepts in relation to the function of financial markets, the flow funds, levels of interest rates and interest rates differentials.
Analysis of the institutional framework through the examination of the theoretical background to the structure and performance of the financial system, and the role, aims and decision making process of financial intermediaries involved in financial markets’ operations.
Examine the international integration of financial markets and institutions.
Consideration of the policy implications with more attention on global developments and contrast these points with the relevant theory.
Development of analytical and research skills practicing with particular problems or issues regarding the markets and institutions.
Demonstrate the financial markets operations.
Analysis of the structure and operation of financial institutions involved in the financial markets.
