Course Description:

To transfer students’ academic knowledge into different activities, designed to offer effective solutions.
Develop an understanding of the management consulting industry and how consultants function that is important for both public and private sector managers; therefore acquire all the necessary tools to help them as managers with the problems occurring within the organizations they are employed to.
To enable the students to reflect on the process of working as a consultant and develop a personal vision on the role of a process consultant.
To develop an understanding and skills in dealing with sensitive issues in consultancy, such as trust building, ethical issues, implementation issues and overcoming change resistance, as well as acquiring skills in acting as a facilitator in team-building and as a process consultant.
To examine management as a method of improving business practices and as a profession.
To demonstrate the most effective current practice procedures so as to design the core of the consultancy process. Furthermore, developing understanding in concepts such as high professional standards in
management consulting and it provides information and knowledge on general consultancy.
