Course Description:

An understanding of the main theories and issues shaping developments in contemporary public policy and their implications is certainly needed in order for the students to be able to know how to critically evaluate some of the main theories and issues shaping developments in contemporary public policy, and also how to assess policy problems in the context of key theoretical arguments and principles of the field.

Demonstrate knowledge of the main theories and issues shaping developments in contemporary public policy.
Critically evaluate some of the main theories and issues shaping developments in contemporary public policy.
Assess policy problems in the context if key theoretical arguments and principles.
Demonstrate a capacity to undertake independent research and communicate their analyses and findings clearly and directly in their written and/or other assignments.
